Multi-year funding award from the USA National Institutes of Health

The USA National Institutes of Health has awarded multi-year funding to support the highly educational Global Health Catalyst summits designed to educate and catalyze high impact global oncology collaborations between USA and LMIC institution partners. The Principal Investigators/Program Directors for the funding are Drs Stephen Avery and Wil Ngwa . The Global Oncology University was an outcome of one of the Global Health Catalyst summits (GHCSS) organized at Harvard Medical School. The first GHCS was organized at Harvard with funding from the Harvard Radcliffe Institute. Since then the summits have also received funding support from the JCRT Foundation, and other Universities including University of Pennsylvania, University of Heidelberg Germany, University of Massachusetts and other foundations, and diaspora organizations.
