This 12 hour, 8 weeks course is designed as a webinar series, delving into the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in advancing global health, particularly in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), where inequitable access to care and poor health outcomes are more prevalent. It explores how AI-driven tools and systems can serve as a catalyst for health equity, offering leapfrogging innovative solutions to longstanding healthcare challenges. By examining a range of AI applications in health, from diagnostics and treatment (oncology) to health system management, the course equips participants with the foundations of AI and illustrates the potential of AI to enhance healthcare delivery and outcomes worldwide.
With many examples and case studies, the highly engaging course will be taught by world leading faculty from the USA, and other countries including in LMICs
